Agave Love this Town is my visual narrative inspired by but not limited to the sub-culture that surrounds the agave spirits that include Mezcal, Tequila, and Raicilla.
I have been a practising artist since the mid-'70s, I have been working with agave spirits since 1980, opening bars, travelling, drinking and documenting Mexico and my world.
I founded an event Agave Love in 2015, for the Promotion, Education, Protection, and Recognition of the Agave Spirits including the Denomination of Origin – Tequila, Mezcal, and including other spirits like Raicilla and Sotol.
In 2017 I was recognized by the Mezcal Regulatory Council of Mexico as the first official Mezcal Ambassador.
This is my visual journey of travel, people and art.
